New Email

This information applies to STAFF ONLY.

We have moved our email system to the live@edu servers starting this school year. This is a hosted exchange server provided by Microsoft.

The new system is up and your accounts have been created.  We are in the process of migrating your email, contacts and calendar items over to the new system. They should appear shortly.  Until then you can send and recieve email with the new system.

- HOW TO LOGIN -

you can go to www.outlook.com or click the email link in the staff tools section of the website to login (the mail.brownlocalschools.com address will eventually work as well)

the login process is a little different due to restrictions with the new system.

-The username is now your full email address (i.e. username@brownlocalschools.com)

-The passwords are now firstinitial+lastinitial+0+last4ofssn

for example, if your name is Bill Smith and the last four of your ssn is 4567 this is the information you would enter to log in

username: smithb@brownlocalschools.com
password: bs04567

I will be posting a guide to the new system soon. It's very similar to the old system so you should be able to get working in no time at all.
